Monarchy, among others, makes very good jitter reduction/upsampler boxes (i.e Monarchy DIp 4896 Upsampler) that go btween a transport and a DAC. In the case of the forementioned Monarchy one, it also upsamples to 24/96 if set accordingly. My question is this: Since the Transporter's digital out is before it's DAC and it's digital in's are before it's DAC, could a Monarchy (or other purely digital jitter/reclocker) by put in between? Would it work? I mean, if I had an SB3 I would use it (and have, prior to owning the TP) between SB3 and DAC...and the TP can act as a standalone DAC, so it got me wondering if I could use one to improve jitter and upsample all my ripped 16/44 redbook to 24/96 before the TP's DAC sees it... Thx Ted
