More seriously : there are too many unknown variables in the test. The 200 correctly identified samples don't tell us anything. But not because they are 50% of the samples: they tell us nothing simply because there are too many variables.
We need more scientific data to validate a test. - We need to know the degree of confidence of the ability of the audience to identify the correct samples. (it is surely not 100%, is it ?) - We need to know how many samples are actually possible to identify (as different). ... and so on. -- Themis SB3 - North Star dac 192 - Denon 3808 - Sonus Faber Grand Piano Domus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Themis's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14700 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56712 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
