These objections would apply at least as much (very likely much more,
but at least as much) to an uncontrolled sighted taste test. In other
words the coffee lovers' claims, that the Caffefile 200 is better, are
invalidated at least as much by these issues as the blind test
results.

A person will only draw a conclusion when they feel satisfied the
variables have been addressed - otherwise they won't draw a conclusion
at all. Whether they know which machine made the cup, or whether they
don't, doesn't change the consideration of variables.
