A result like that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the two products are distinguishable by taste alone. That's all that's being asked most of the time in tests of high-end audio gear, so that's it - we're done. The question of which they prefer and why is a whole different kettle of fish, one irrelevant to the discussion we've been having.
