No AC is what comes into your home not DC. It is the noise and variable voltage and instability of the AC that can affect the conversion of AC to DC, also certain household items can send spikes and other noise onto the AC ring ie refrigerators kicking in.
obviously the more you spend on HiFI the more you can expect the manufactureer to spend on the AC-DC conversion and purifying, but say he designs his equipment to operate at tighter AC supply tolerances that you have in your house, some of the noise still gets through. why do HIFI buffs go nuts over mains cables if the AC wasnt important? -- c3p0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ c3p0's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20721 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52348 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
