Hi All, #1 Phil, you could not say that after the ADM measuring you KNOW there is no difference betweeen the 2 playback from Analogic output, you teached to me those kind of difference are also in 2 playback of the same file in the same format, remember? Maybe You Belive they are NOT depending on the file format.
#2, You know I think is likely the first probability, but since I'm not the only one AND you could not for sure exclude any difference, we could only 'belive' is unlikely there is any auidible difference but is a 'placebo' effect. So, I'm with John, let's we Know the "proper" protocol (I assume my Wife is not...shhh don't tell her...) and ask as many people is possible to run it! But I'm with Ralph too, people who could not Heard the difference between MP3 and FLAC (or LP and CD) will probably detect no differences And more ABX or DBT is not the only (nor the better) way to evalueate SQ, so the reliability of results will probably in dubt too, but is still intresting to me. What is much more intrestingto me is to know if people could hear differences, and wich kind of. I've posted my impressions, John, Ralph and others, please let me Know if yours are similar, this will NOT prove ANYTHING to nobody, but will help to understand. P.S. Why S.B. when playng FLAC streamed as WAV by the server report BITRATE: XXX Kbps VBR Converted to 1411,2 Kbps ABR? Should not be 1411 Kbps CBR as WAV/PCM is? Is only in my system?
