Thank you! - What were the differences you heard in high-rez feed? - Where you be able to compare 192/24 & 176.4/24 without downsampling (maybe, connecting computer or another source)? - Did you connect with SPDIF or AES/EBU? When I connected my Transporter to PS Audio PWD via AES/EBU, it lost sync every few minutes. Yet, very same DAC worked perfectly when connected to MBL transport via AES/EBU. Is there an audible difference between SPDIF and AES/EBU you could distinguish? - Were you been using SoX upsampling for 44.1/16, e.g. using polyphase filtering to 96/24? - Did you have a chance to compare Berkeley Audio Alpha to Weiss Minerva (or its replacement, DAC202)? Minerva to my ears sounded a bit thin, with very focused and narrowed sound stage. I like focused sound, but also wider sound stage -- michael123 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ michael123's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23745 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75180 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
