Room correction/EQ is not going to fix what is probably missing, the foundation of all Music: Bass.
Monitors can only go so low but more importantly start rolling off well above how far the spec says they go down to. Have you considered or have room for floor standing speakers? Active are a way to go, but the good ones are fairly expensive. Read more expensive then just updating your Monitors to a phase and time aligned first order cross-over floor standing speaker like a Thiel or Vandersteen Speaker that has adequate bass response. Sounds like it is time to take a trip to the local HiFi shop and do some listening. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80289 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
