If you could find another £500 (sell your amp and speakers?) you could get a pair of avi adm9.1 active speakers. They contain a good dac and 250w of power and go very loud very cleanly. they contain a preamp with 2 toslink + phono inputs and come with remote control. there is an optional sub woofer upgrade too. available in a range of finishes. see google for reviews. I'm not an owner personally but did have a pair on demo for a month and was very impressed: Value per £ they are hard to beat. In fact in general SQ they are hard to beat unles you start getting into serious hi-fi territory. With all due respect they are in a completely different league to the CA/wharfedale stuff. -- ste1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ste1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23522 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80289
