Yes. It is my opinion that the Transporter is the best source of all
the Squeezeboxes for both Digital and Analog out. Now having said that,
if one is 'Always' going to use an external DAC, I think one has to
strongly look at ones equipment to see if using the Transporter as only
a Digital Transport makes sense. The Touch has raised the level of
Digital Coax out to being close to that of the TP. It is my feeling
that unless ones other equipment can make use of that extra bit the TP
has to offer on the DIgital side, one should just get a Touch to go
with their external DAC.
