The verdict on the Touch seems to be mixed, both as an analogue and digital source. While it's acknowledged that the Transporter can be improved, the concensus appears to be positive ... at least enough to convince me it's worth tracking one down to have a listen to. The rest of my system may not be up to resolving all the detail and so forth, but there's always opportunity (and incentive) to upgrade if I have a decent source.
