As has been said point 2 is not true.

As for all points, I would not assume the apparent online majority are
right. There are always dissenting voices so...

You need to decide for yourself whether changing from the SB3 is going
to result in an audible improvement to YOUR ears in YOUR system. I
would suggest this is not NECESSARILY the case. If you feel in doubt
about the SB3, for whatever reason, you should decide for yourself and
I recommend you beg, borrow or get a home trial to determine your
course.

Also, bear in mind the differences between decent digital sources tend
to be quite subtle and expectation can easily overcome other factors.
Try to get a partner or friend to switch between sources without
telling you which is which. You might be surprised at the results when
you do this - there is nothing to lose, and who knows what you may
gain?
