You hear what you want to hear but speakers are mechanical and can well change Placement distance and placement accuracy from the wall can make a large difference As for your speakers: you would have done better with Dynaudio Danes don't lie -- pski real stereo doesn't just wake the neighbors, it -enrages- them..
