Ignoring the the tendentious preamble, the answer to the original question is obvious. Some manufacturers do in fact pre-burn-in and some actually charge for the privilege. Thus far no problem. But there are other factors and a high degree of uncertainty involved in buying from other consumers which outweigh these benefits.
