Ah, I take the point about it winding people up to blindly state that one is better. However, since we're talking about music I think we can assume that the words "in my opinion" need to be appended to every post with the word better in it. Truth is, Bridge Over Troubled Water sounds better on a little Ekco portable record player (like a Dansette) and there should be a skip in the second chorus of Baby Driver. Well, that's my truth. It's how that album always sounds at its most real to me. Every time somebody says that their stereo sounds better with a crystal on the right speaker, I don't think "No, it doesn't" and post a reply. I think "weird that it sounds better for them" and get on with my listening.
I think I just don't understand audiophile forums. I'll still drop in from time to time though - six people have paid me £80 for a blue power cord so far.
