Oh for sure, the Benchmark has it's qualities, you hear every detail in the music. But it's not what i search for, i like dynamics and a more musical sound, it's also a matter of taste and what kind of music you play i quess. I'm still looking for a dac with a tube in the output section, i still prefer my cd player because of this. When i connect my cd player to the Rega dac it sounds the same as the SBT, so the tube is the difference. My search is not finished with the Rega i'm afraid.
