1. Higher damping factor usually means tigther and better impulse
response, or put it another way to low damping factor is flabby and
uncontrolled bass, but this also depends on wich speaker you attempt to
drive.

Ouch

Your speaker have a very complex impedance plot and are down at 2,5 ohm
and complex 3 rd order fillters.

i would try a stable and powerfull amp here brand names ? I'm not good
at that game anymoore but Bryston is always mentioned if one whats
technically well designed amps, wich is the kind of amp such speakers
need.

4.
House sound ? Imho there are some traps comparing stuff in a shop "
exciting " would often be irritating in your face sound in the long
run. The more bland initially uninvoling thing may be the more correct
rendering of the recording , you need to take some amps home and try
for a longer time with your normal way of listening.

Also modern well designed ( no voodoo engineering ) amps should be very
similar to each other if used inside their design parameters, not
clipping etc . Your speaker seems capable of weeding out such amps that
does not perform well :)

There is a myth that powerfull amps sounds " powerfull " and not as
refined as a smaller amp.
It's the oposite, if the amp can drive the speaker at any level you
would get a more relaxed and unstrained sound.
physics wins, no selecting of audiophile components can compensate for
lack of power.

Ofcourse if you are listening at low levels in a small room you migth
not need the most powerfull amps.
