Thanks SBGK for your feedback and happy to read that you have nearly reached the audio perfection :) Have to say that even without HW mods, Amandine Beyer's recording is still one of my favorite HD track. There are so many fine details in there and it sounds so wonderfully atmospheric as you said. I always enjoy coming back to it. It only raised recently some doubts about the balance of my main system compared to my secondary one (Touch TT3 analog out to Audioengine 2). I found the mids somewhat thin compared to what comes out the Audioengine. Don't know though if Audioengine enhances mids that are not in the original recording. Maybe you could tell me how the mids now sound for you on this recording. -- evdplancke ------------------------------------------------------------------------ evdplancke's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43147 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91322 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
