Thanks SBGK for your feedback and happy to read that you have nearly
reached the audio perfection :) Have to say that even without HW mods,
Amandine Beyer's recording is still one of my favorite HD track. There
are so many fine details in there and it sounds so wonderfully
atmospheric as you said. I always enjoy coming back to it.
It only raised recently some doubts about the balance of my main system
compared to my secondary one (Touch TT3 analog out to Audioengine 2). I
found the mids somewhat thin compared to what comes out the
Audioengine. Don't know though if Audioengine enhances mids that are
not in the original recording. Maybe you could tell me how the mids now
sound for you on this recording.
