Now I fully understand your second paragraph above and as you clearly state you came to this conclusion by listening so it is a completely valid statement on your part. Just be aware that other individuals may come to equally valid but completely different conclusions through listening. Regarding your first paragraph I really do try not to throw out the baby along with the bathwater but I ask where does one draw the line? In an effort to appease their advertisers (and continue to have those advertisers continue to pay for advertising space which pays the salaries of the editors and writers) the high end press has resorted to bold faced lying. A USB cable has no "sound", this is a scientific fact, it is not a matter of opinion nor is up for discussion, to say otherwise is either to be completely ignorant of how digital audio signals are transmitted or to lie. In either case it leaves one wondering where else these so called "experts" who edit and writer for these magazines are either ignorant or lying. They have completely lost my trust and until they decide that the truth should trump advertising revenue I have no use for these clowns. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97489 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
