Unfortunately it's more complicated. They're not live at the same time, you have to select the Digital Output for EDO and the USB device presents as a separate option which reboot the Touch each time the selection is changed (ie. USB vs. SPDIF's). I tried looking into this this AM with my Essence One plugged in to the Touch's USB. Unfortunately there's some really strange incompatibility. EDO is aware of the E1's sampling rates up to 192kHz as an asynch device but when I play tracks it cannot match the sampling rates up appropriately! It insists on playing 16/44 as 96kHz, 24/44 & 24/96 as 192kHz, and 24/192 as 44kHz! As such, I can't get any measurements at all since nothing matches. How bizarre... I'll post this finding up on the EDO thread and see if anyone has a suggestion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archimago's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2207 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97950 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
