Last sunday's flying note from the Albury Corowa GC.
Scattered ragged Cu formed everywhere else until 1400 when Cu formed within 2nm.
2 single seaters departed on varying tasks and did not return for greater than
1hr. (1 was away all day!)
The Blanik (two-up) flew X-C Corowa-Daysdale-Howlong-Rutherglen-Corowa (just
less than 100km) in 2hr 30min. with climbs to 8,200' in broken thermals of
2-5kts.
