Hi Folks,

Last Sunday: just another Hornet Mike Yankee 500kms (98kph)Bev -
Wylkatchem - Kulin- Kellerberrin - Bev; a couple of eleven knotters to
11,000' under nice flat bottomed Cus between Corrigin and Kulin (have
the barograph to prove it.) It's all green out around Kulin from rain
dumped from last couple of ex-cyclones drifting down from the north over
the last couple of weeks. All the lakes are full, waterskiing in
progress on one west of Kondinin(way, way inland), usually dry and white
this time of year. Maybe the moisture in the air is increasing the
strength of the thermals? Anyway, final glided from 76 kms out. Beer
after landing was very nice.

Monday: Labour Day Holiday in WA (Yawn) just another 500kms
Bev-Dowerin-Narembeen-Narrogin(town)-Bev. Only 6-9knots today, but final
glided from Cuballing (80kms out) from 10,000'(only 99kph overall, I
took 1hour 30mins to do the first 100kms).

You really should have been there........
Regards,
John Welsh
Hornet VH-GMY.
