Hi Bob I'm simply making the point that instruction in powered aircraft is not always wonderful. Particularly since many of them are interested only in hours to get to the next stage of their careers. But luckily not all of them. I've also found some excellent GA instructors.
I don't remember saying anything about being bullet proof, but I certainly think most of us have a better mindset than many power only pilots. Email can be easily misconstrued - I'm sorry you derived the wrong meaning from mine.
