Can anyone believe the crap the ATC and Pilots Union carry on with? When
we first built the AFRU units for airports the unions said their members
were not happy about them, 6 months later an airline refused to land at
an airport because one was down for maintenance! ( some of the reason
was that the then chairman , Dick , who had the idea for AFRU , was not
real popular with some of his own tribe )

Cheers

Nigel

If you go to the CASA website (www.casa.gov.au) and go to "new rules
development" and then "NPRMs" you will find the NPRM(Notice of Proposed
Rule Making) on the next stage of the National Airspace System.

I know it is all as pdf files and terribly frustrating. You might send
them a rocket about this on the "how can we inprove this site" button
and ask for html versions which are much easier to read online.

Anyway please read and send a response by 12th March - hopefully in
favour otherwise the forces of evil(ATC and commercial/airline pilot
unions and sundry CASA and Airservices dinosaurs) will win.
