The GFA ops people run a well-publicised roadshow each year which
involves visiting clubs in each state and running full-day safety
seminars.
Part of those seminars involves frank, uninhibited, detailed discussion
of the accidents and incidents which have occurred since the previous
event in the same state.
The last one in South Australia was at Lochiel in spring. I found it
a pretty valuable day, and have taken on-board lots of what was talked
about to improve my own flying.
I commend Kevin Olerhead's safety seminars to everyone reading this
list.
