Well have stocked same for years then they stopped me then about 10 years ago they resupplied again but recently stopped again saying they were only to supply to the "authorities" and in our case that was GFA. I did contact GFA at the time of about changer to John Viney and I gather they were about to order same. I have spoken to Barbara Dorflein at Tost and she fully explained the situation on the phone. I can supply all other Tost gear including new and reconditioned releases and I have new beaks and Tost arms for wheel brakes for the record, but not springs. I guess if GFA were to authorise with Tost for me to get springs then I am sure it would be OK with Barbara but SHE MUST have her paperwork covered with the LBA I usually get gear from Tost each month and 5 springs would be nothing. I just do it as a service and it is not the money.
I would say we may let some of out releases go too long with wear marks on beak and cage and Tost can be a bit upset with the condition of some releases they get from Australia! I think we should all consider sending back 20 year old releases especially high use units, as they redo them in new case and they are like new! Bit expensive about 1/2 new price!!!
