Make sure you keep up with updates for all your software, but especially Windows. Lucky you have that download allowance, there's a lot. Avoid using Outlook / Outlook Express / Internet Explorer, there are alternatives. Here are some: For email: http://www.eudora.com/ http://mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/ For web pages: http://www.mozilla.org/ http://www.opera.com/ Even better, don't use Windows. Yes, there will be a learning curve, but there's a learning curve to learn Windows properly too. Guru? probably not.
