This thread is timely as the newly created
GFA Marketing Committee has its first meeting this
weekend.
I am sure that many QGA Members have fed ideas to Ralph
Henderson in response to his e-mail last week. I certainly included the
Subaru concept in my response - being a proud Subaru owner:-)

Definitely old fashioned thinking. Lack of budget?? I
don't know about that one, please correct me, but what I've heard is that
GFA has close to a million dollars all up. Looks to me as though
they don't want to spend it on worthwhile stuff!

Sponsorship is a necessity!
Whenever you get a new watch or mobile phone, on the screen is always a
clear plastic that is easy to remove and leave's no residue. What I
was thinking, that when we do these movies or get sponsorship @ a comp, we
could put an A4 sheet of this clear plastic with our sponsors on it just
under the cockpit area. So they are shown in cockpit pics and low
passes!
My thoughts
anyways.
