My name is Glenn Dunstan.
I am a level 3 instructor, tug pilot and the ex CIP (CFI) of Canberra
gliding club.
The 'Blackbird Pilot' in my email refers to my other hobby - motorcycles - I
own a Blackbird (Honda CBR1100XX).
I stand by my previous comments.
How hard would it be to publish at least a brief summary of accidents and
incidents in the magazine?

I agree with you about the tone of "Blackbird Pilot", but he does have a
point. All your thorough investigation will finish up in a good report, but
it will be filed at GFA and never see the light of day thereafter. There
should be a regular safety column in AS with summaries of accidents, as in
the BGA "Sailplane & Gliding"
