Auscheck is taking over this process, and so it will eventually be a single department Ben. Although, as I had mentioned before, they are not ready as planned and so have delayed their 'go live' date to the 3 September. Some of the internal processes they want to use won't be ready for another 18 months at least as I understand, so best get the application or renewal in now. As you correctly state, we also have pilots with Top Secret clearance that need to go through the whole process of checking, because it is just 'easier' that way.
