Macca,
My limited understanding of the whole FAI licence thing is that each coutry has
an FAI delegate that must verify claims from that country.
This does have costs involved to maintain the system, i do know for sure that
the FAI delegate is not paid and volunteers her time but the correspondence and
costs of the running of the process may explain the cost of our FAI licenses
here.
Tell you what, i will ask her and get back to you..
Maybe we should look forward and build a web based system to lower the costs
and show what actually happens more clearly?
