Hi all, I'm in the process of putting an ipaq into my glider. My ipaq uses a USB cable for all power/data etc.. It has the smaller plug on the unit and the larger (normal) USB plug into the power source. I want to chop off the larger plug so I can run the lead straight off the panel.
The USB cable has copper, silver, red, black, green and white wires. It's probably obvious but "just in case" can someone please confirm that the black is negative power and the red is positive power? I don't want to blow my HP Ipaq up, I have been caught out before! Thanks Don Woodward VH-GIB
