Evening One thing that caught me out was wires. The wires I used were from a USB cable - but the voltage drop across those wires was about .3 volts. This was enough to stop my iPaq charging.
If you have any problem test the voltage at the ipaq while it is charging. P.S. I have installed two systems - one running from a commercial unit - the Vega, and another from a cheap $5 Cigaret lighter to USB charger - both work very well.
