Posting the following from John Carr;
I was looking through the CASA website and came across a list of aircraft that
have had their registration cancelled because they have failed to complete the
new Part 47 registration. There must be fifty (50)gliders listed ! I am sure
that there must be some owners/ syndicate owners unaware of this.The list can
be viewed by going to www.casa.gov.au/ quick links / Aircraft register /
Aircraft registrations cancelled by CASA.
I feel that this should be highlighted some how as I am sure that flying an
unregistered aircraft/glider will attract "Penalty points" (CASA speak for
fine) and am not sure about Insurance.
