Gratitude must be expressed on the proscribed form, which can be
obtained
from the the Post Office upon submission of a completed application
form,
filed seven days in advance in triplicate with a filing fee. Gifts
expressing appreciation in tangible form will not be accepted unless
provided with a copy of a tax invoice showing that the value of the
gift approximates the Valuer General's appraisal of market value, that
the gift has not been sourced from any company which is a client of
or supplier to the regulator, and that the correct amount of GST has
been paid.
There are procedures, after all.
