I was looking through the CASA website and came across a list of
aircraft that have had their registration cancelled because they

fifty (50)gliders listed ! I am sure that there must be some owners/
syndicate owners unaware of this.
Considering the several years of controversy that CASA endured to
bring in Part 47,
that seems unlikely :-)
There's a suitably impressive number of Blanik's on the list.
My hunch is that most of the aircraft in the list have either had
rego changes or have been written off. Many of the gliders are
probably sitting in their trailers derigged after their pilots have
moved on, died, etc; depending on how many years they've been
there for, they might not necessarily be economically salvageable.
