Anyway anyone who thinks levitating yourself thousands of feet above the ground in a mechanical contraption isn't dangerous doesn't understand the problem. Maybe we could put the thick red line on the charts 12nm offshore all the way around the island? As for intolerance of others' ops it is about time that all flight training included at least a theoretical section of other aviation operations and their priorities and difficulties/special requirements. Commercial pilots and ATPL's could also be told that they have no special rights to the air. It belongs to everyone who wants to use it. Adam, the controller is only required to warn of other known IFR traffic. Did you ever hear one use the information you gave about VFR traffic to warn IFR traffic of your presence?
