"REX 123, be aware that we've got an un-verified aircraft operating in the Griffith area. The aircraft appears to be heading in the direction of Griffith, currently 7500 aproximately 25miles from the airfield. We estimate they'll be there aproximately xyz if all things stay the same." So sure, not exactly the same thing. But if they knew about me in my glider around the Roma area, I'm sure they'd probably pass the word onto the B200 driver barreling into the CCT @ 250kts! Probably something like this "ABC No Traffic for descent, however we've been advised that there maybe up to 5 gliders in this area below 8000'. They can be contacted on 122.x if not on CTAF" It'd be in their duty of care if we told them that we'd be around there at xyz time, wouldn't it?
