Ian Hmm About 8 years ago when I requalified for my instructor rating (which I had initially gained through the air cadets in the UK), I tried to put something back into the Australian movement by volunteering. I had one conversation with the then local person in charge of Air Cadet gliding and was fairly brusquely told to go away.
