“Might be a good choice for a Nationals or Worlds.”

Any inland site above 32 deg would be good for premier events especially with
facilities nearby.

We flew down there on Saturday morning for a look. Day was canned at briefing
because some computer program said so.

It later got better and we flew all the way home in convection with some
cumulus under the cirrostratus.

Everyone had a good time, nothing got broken and they seem very happy with
Goondiwindi as a soaring site. No airspace issues, tasking available in any
direction, good spacious airfield kept in excellent condition by the
supportive local council, good size town not far from airfield.

Might be a good choice for a Nationals or Worlds.

It was a Kingaroy clean sweep. Bruce Taylor actually won 3 of the four days
that he flew and came second on the other. However on the two days he didn't
fly Lisa Trotter came home in first and second places respectively, giving her
the well deserved win in Sports Class.
Sports Class: Lisa Trotter (Kingaroy), Tom Claffey (Narromine), Allan
Barnes (DDSC).
Club Class: Adam Woolley (Kingaroy) , Richard Hoskins (DDSC), Leon
Moran (DDSC).
Two Seat: Greg Schmidt/Nev Donald (Kingaroy), Harry & Wendy
Medlicott (Lake Keepit), Team JSR ?? (DDSC).
