Hello,
Linda suggested that the search and external links don't belong on the
front page. To help people compare, I have two pages:
http://new.scipy.org:9080/oocommunity/front.html
http://new.scipy.org:9080/oocommunity/front2.html
The first one has a search box and links on the left. The second has no
search box and links at the bottom. And you can easily imagine what it'd
look without any links.
What do you prefer? Should I remove the bottom links too? Linda has a
good point that they don't really belong on the front page. At least,
not this type of front page. But some people feel that the page looks empty.
Ideas? Suggestions?
