As cool as that is, one advantage of using email is that it is more
"personal". You get to "meet" the person, talk a little, say "hey,
welcome aboard!" etc. And I think that's important.
We can design the website so anyone can edit files without having the
author role. We added the author role in purpose, for the reason above.
Of course, we can change this for each language. So, for example, we
could require the author role in the English section but not German.
