This explains an awful lot:<discuss-openpoffice-help>I had not realized that there was a "head of OOoAuthors", let alone a "Lord Captain Commander" of anything. I thought we were a group of volunteers, with each opinions weighted equally. I see now that I was wrong. There is clearly a well-established chain of command here, and I will not bend to it. Had I known that Daniel was an authority not to be questioned ("the decision /is/ made", when of course he meant "the decision /has been/ made"), I would never have volunteered my time. I had hoped I could help, but I see now that I can't. Que lastima. I still believe OpenOffice is a great product, and I will continue to use and support it, and help where I can. Best regards, Lou |
