Before I do any more graphics I'll wait for the dust to settle. I number the images in accordance with the figure numbers and it's a nightmare inserting some "in the middle" and having to re-number the rest.
It always frosts me when someone has to do a task like that manually, with a perfectly good computer sitting right there. If you like, I should be glad to look into automating the renumbering task.
IMO the details may be of sufficient general interest to "keep it on the list", but we can start a new thread. /tj
