It always frosts me when someone has to do a task like that manually,
with a perfectly good computer sitting right there. If you like, I
should be glad to look into automating the renumbering task.
IMO the details may be of sufficient general interest to "keep it on the

When I first started programming, 40 years ago, I used to have a sign on my
desk. It read, "People who think they know it all are especially annoying to
those of us that do". I'm sure you are well meaning, but....
