In the real print-publishing world, the first page of a chapter/appendix
always is preset so as to begin on a recto (right, odd-numbered) page. Is
that what you referred to as empty pages? Whwenever a chapter ends on a
recto page, an accompanying verso (left) page must be inserted, so as to
allow the next page to be recto.
Thank you, Gray.
However, according to my screenshot, it is not about that. It is not
the end of chapter and there are more than one page. That's why I
asked about this. :)
Go into the View menu and set your menuitems so that you see everything
on those pages. If you employ the master document right, you should not
need to set page breaks. There are a number of ways to preset your page
styles, so you should learn all of those described in our guides or from
tutorials. It would help if you also understand how MS Office 2007 or
2010 does paging (or FrameMaker, if you have a copy...).
You can install the MS Office 2010 beta now free of charge, in case you
or anybody wants to get a free chance to use it for a few months. Its
release should be during April.
