Try creating a MC, add it to the stage and set visible to false like
"routine" mentioned (maybe invisible after the draw command I mention
next?).

Then you can draw this MC in to a bitmap, and use that bitmap in a
BitmapMaterial, and update it after the draw like:

mymaterial.bitmap=newBitmap;

Somethings may go wrong, but I am pretty sure you can get this to work.
