The feeling software one, I think it says which one in the file header. It
was fun using Maya, to make it. Btw Mario was modelled in Lightwave, my
workflow is usually something like this:

1. Model in Lightwave > export 3DS
2. UV in some other app (lightwave screws up UV's)
3. Animate in some other app (I usually use a Quake Model Editor-like
software) > Export MD2
4. Away3D

Although I have an old Lightwave, I could possibly combine the first three
steps with the "new" Lightwave but I wouldn't know. And I am deathly afraid
of using DAE, and prefer MD2, but, for the sake of Away3D'ers and as a
homage to Katopz for making the Away3D DAE bones stuff, I made the Mario
model :)
