If you put a scrollrect or use Rectangle Clipping on it, it should (might?)
solve this problem.
//imports the clipping stuff
import away3d.core.clip.*;
//set up view new View (etc..)
view.clipping = new RectangleClipping({minX:-(800/2), minY:-(600/2),
maxX:800/2, maxY:600/2});
