Hi Fabric,
Thanks for the detailed info. It did make A LOT of sense than the
earlier message. I know colourmatrix filter and will try it out. In
the noon, I just got the required model with the normal map that the
3D designer created. The shaded model is rendering perfectly. The DOT3
material only is again not being rendered properly. This time I added
the directional light properly. The DOT3 material is getting rendered
but very oddly. If you can have a look at:

DOT3 -

You can have a look at the normal map at:

One of my suspicion about normal map is that it looks more like bump
and looks different than normal map of your torso normal map. This is
prepared by the 3D designer and not me.

For testing I went to create the normal map myself through prefab.
However, it says "first select a mesh" to create a normal map. I
understood the message and clicked many a times on the body mesh.
Still it keeps saying the same.It had happened to me on few other test
models as well. I do not understand how to select the mesh of female
body. For few models the mesh got selected and generated the normal
map in the past. Is there anything specific while making a model that
3D designer need to take care of?

If you want to have a look at model, you can also get it at:

Your advice is indeed highly appreciated (Once this model is rendered
correctly, it will boost lot my confidence :))
